We've had a very busy and fun-filled August, with some great days out and about. We enjoyed a day in Birmingham, visiting the National Sea Life Centre and the Thinktank Science Museum, which The Princess and The Pickle found fascinating.
We walked around Carsington Water with Nannie and Grandad, then spent a day with them at Alton Towers. Nannie made a delicious cake for The Princess' 9th birthday and she spent the evening opening her presents.
We also visited Drayton Manor, home of Thomas Land, which The Pickle loved! It was a long journey home afterwards, especially with part of the A34 closed, but the kids were so worn out they slept the entire way. It's been a summer holiday to remember!
