LolliBop 2014 at Hatfield House, Hertfordshire

34

The Princess and The Pickle have enjoyed going to LolliBop for the last 2 years and we're really excited about the new venue this year.  With beautiful gardens and woodland, we think Hatfield House in Hertfordshire will make the perfect place for this family festival.

Car parking is available on site this year and for families travelling by train it's only 22 minutes from London Kings Cross.  I do agree the change of location makes it more accessible for a lot of people, with the local train station being a 5 minute stroll away.

Mister Maker will be headlining the main stage on Friday, with Justin Fletcher headlining on Saturday and Sunday.  They will be joined by CBBC's Sam and Mark, Andy Day, Mr Bloom, Scooby Doo, Postman Pat and many more acts to keep the little ones entertained.  There is plenty of entertainment for the older kids too, including a STOMP workshop and Bear Grylls' Survival Academy.

The woodlands will be taken over by the National Geographic Kids magazine team, with games and prizes and the chance to meet some exotic animals!  Creative kids can join in the the Southbank Centre's activities run by artists - everything from crafts and messy play to poetry and making pop videos!  The Science Museum tent will be full of exciting experiments and Harry's Wizarding School sounds like great fun, with wand making workshops and broomstick training!

Our old favourites Titan the Robot and the Ready Sheddy Disco will be there again too.  It's bound to be a fun filled family day out!

LolliBop takes place on 15th, 16th and 17th August and is aimed at families with children under 10.  More information and tickets here
