Our sponsored splash
We'll be doing a one mile sponsored walk this Friday to help towards Team Honk's total. Rain has been forecast (no surprises there), so our challenge is to splash our way through as many puddles as we can along the way (Mummy and Daddy included!)If you'd like to sponsor us you can here.
Competition
To run alongside our splashing challenge, we are running a 'Design a pair of wellies' colouring competition. You can print out the template below drawn by The Princess, or you can create your own. You can use pens, paints, collage, or even make a paper mache model of your wellies (although I wouldn't recommend jumping in any puddles in them!) Take a photo of your creation and send it to us via Twitter or Facebook before 23rd March for your chance to win a fab prize (prize details will be updated later this week).
Entrants must donate a minimum of just £1 to Sport Relief here and include their Twitter or Facebook name on the donation so I can validate entries.
The competition is open to all ages but entries for under 16s must be made by a parent/guardian.
The winner will be judged by The Princess and The Pickle, plus one runner up will be chosen at random from all other entries. Happy splashing!
The first ever Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games take place from
Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd March 2014. The public can join the fun and
games by running, swimming or cycling their way to raising cash at over a
thousand venues around the country, including the landmark events at
Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
As one of the biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the
entire nation together to get active raise cash and change lives. The
money raised by the public is spent by Comic Relief to help transform
the lives of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged people both at
home in the UK and across the world.
